HeLp mE cHoOsE eXhAuSt FoR a GiRlS GMC!
I'm sorry guys, I am not into the truck thing, but my girlfriend is. She has a 99 GMC and her current exhaust isn't good enough for her, so she wants it louder with a good tone. I am getting her added to my LS1 edit cable, so we can delete her O2 codes, therefore we can take her cats off the GImmick! What exhaust setup do you guys think she should run? I have Headers, true duals, X-pipe with 2 12inch bullets on my 2000 Trans Am and it sounds old school, but I don't know what it will sound like on the 5.3?
All suggestions will be considered, thank you!

longtube headers with cutouts behind them...3" back into dual dynomax bullets and dumped in front of the axle. or if she doesn't like the sound all the time have it run out back under the bumper.

Hell just get her some o2 sims and get rid of the cats. Mine is like that running to a single Magnaflow and it is loud and raspy as hell

I have HammHeaders, true duals w/magnaflow x-pipe, two 2.5" Magnaflow mufflers dumped before the axle and I love it. It is very tame for everyday/highway driving but screems when you nail it. BTW, I still have my cats too. Exhaust Pics

Well I have decided to run trual duals into a x-pipe then route the exhaust into 2 magnaflows, then dump it at the axle. It should have a deep throaty sound to it don't you think? I don't want to put headers on it just yet, to pricey for her budget. Does anyone have room to host a pic of her truck? It is a damn clean truck.
