Help with my 2004 Z-71
Hello. I’m trying to figure out if my 2004 Z-71 is a LS or LT trim.
The truck is a crew cab swb, front bucket seats in cloth, Bose stereo CD/cassette, controls on the steering wheel, power mirrors, power driver seat, five spoke aluminum 17” wheels, 3.73 w/ G80. etc. it pretty much has everything.
I have the window sticker but it only says Z-71. No mention if it’s LS or LT trim.
I’ve done a VIN search but there was no joy there.
Thanks.

Sounds like LT (leather seats, I'm assuming?)

Oh, ok.
It's weird that it doesn't have the decal on the rear pillars, no? I thought they all had them? Sometimes they fall off or people remove them, but you are the original owner...🤔🤷

Looking here,

it appears that the Z-71 crew cab is an animal all unto itself. I’m just guessing though, lol!!

Right or wrong, to me a true LT has leather along with heated front buckets with 2 position memory function and these controls are on the front door cards. I'm sure there is some other stuff but that's the big one for me.
You say you bought it new so, we can rule out someone along the way removing or adding these features.
One other thing, there should be list of PRO codes on a sticker in the glove box, you could possibly confirm the trim from those.

My 99 Silverado is an LS trim but it had leather (non-heated) seats, which I didn't realize was not standard on that trim.
I thought the trim was like an umbrella designation for options, but the actual options could vary depending on how the vehicle got built or ordered. IDK.
OP, are you thinking your truck was a trim by itself from that link you posted? That would explain why it didn't come with the cab decals, right?
