and this is why I am not going to the performance side of the truck.
How'd I feel to spend a lot of money trying to mod my truck and getting it beat by something that spent maybe a 1/4 of what I spent.

So I was bored and found this post interesting so I decided to do a little reasearch:

I used a online horsepower calculator and entered in the numbers suplied on that time slip
and entered in the weight of 4950 lbs which I got from a magazine article for a RCSB Hemi Ram.
*Im just using this as a estimated weight*

My results:

weight- 4950 lbs
trap speed of- 99.05 mph
equals- 375.4 HP

this seems amazingly unbelievable to me, with his amount of mods.

heres the hp calculator site i used:
http://www.tnmotorsports.com/dyno.htm

oh well, if thats what he says. I guess... lucky him.

i think i saw in a hot rod they dynoed at 250 something too. Maybe it was Truckin. Any one think he snuck in a 50shot?

I did the hp calc at DSM and gave the Hemi the benifit of only weighing 4500lbs with driver and came up with 345rwhp. Thats basicaly 100 over stock. Im ready to throw the flag. There is NO way to get 100 more rwhp without something more than what he says he has.

I also heard that track where he ran has an inclination of 8* to his advantage. I wonder if that helps any?
