Well I heard it was 150 hours and I'm past that now and no, I didn't feel any big power gain. I was hoping what I read was true but in my case, not much happened. Were the conditions the same when you made the runs? Weather could account for the difference in times. I think the weather did hurt me by about .3 but I'm not positive, the head wind didn't help either.

I just saw a Truck Trend mag yesterday while grocery shopping, they had a Lightning vs SRT10 shoot out. I didn't read the article but I saw the performance numbers and they were (if I remember correctly).
SRT10, 0-60 4.9, 1/4 mile 13.3 (don't remember mph)
Lightning, 0-60 5.3, 1/4 mile 13.8 (again, don't remember mph)

Well, I didn't noticed an "all of the sudden" increase in power. The weather was about the same.

 

cool thanks.... I called a SRT10 out this past weekend and he was afaraid to run me... He said "I seen that blue truck just take off" in a race before.. LOL I was really wanting to see how bad that thing was...

 

Well apparently it was bad enough! What did he do, bring a 13 second truck to a 12 second fight? LOL!

Hopefully by the time you're ready to drive up to Sacto I'll have my truck ready and get out there myself. I know people are dying to see some #s out of my kit as am I.

And yes, Jim is right. Infineon Raceway is generally 2 10th slower than Sac. God I hate that place!

 

it just sucks there is not many trucks out on the scene around here... so I was excited when I saw him... Oh and I was looking forward to make him look stupid in a 45k truck...

 

There's a local guy with a KB on his L along with a fully built motor and a huge shot of nitrous...I think a 250shot.

 

I might have raced him... do you know his name?
