Chevyman is right, HIDs burn cooler than incandescent bulbs

Llke they said above!

In a true HID systems, the lights won't melt the housing cause they don't get as hot as bulbs!

I've done some searching and can't come up with an HID kit for the fog lights yet. The 9005 kit that I was going to use down there will be going into my high beams this weekend.

When you added the HID's to your Hi's....what did you do about the fuses?

Nothing at all. Just put them in and drove. I ran the same set up in an '02 Suburban a few years ago. I did the same thing with those.

O ok...i changed my fuses b/c the kit suggested it...just wondering if you did something else w/ the Hi-beams...Thanks
