it seems to be running smoother every time i start it. im still on the 5.3 tune but i can feel that its definately a stronger motor. im guna change the oil around 250 miles and seafoam the **** out of it right before the new oil goes in. then new plugs and run this tank of seafoam outa the gas and go for a custom tune.

most of the oil pumps in gms are not pressure pumps but rather volume so theres not much u can do. i have a 00 with a 5.3 and idle is 50 and 80 when i get after it. i talked to the local gm shop and its fine. plus just think with that kind of pressure u dont have to worry about the bearings running dry
