you're really lucky that it didn't fold over and smack the top of the cab.

Good point!! Man, that makes me NOT want a cowl hood anymore. My hood popped up one time about 2 years ago. I was going about 25 MPH or so and hit a small pothole in the road (stupid me). I guess the jolt from the pothole moved the hood latch. Luckily my hood did not fly open. It sure made we wonder WTF though. It hasn't happened since then.....(knock on wood).

My wifes hood on her truck (2005)unlatched and the safety(secondary) latch is what kept it from causing anymore damage. I was driving about 70mph on IH-35. I'll tell you what, when the hood did this, it was like "WTF was that".........and then we saw it vibrating. OOOOOPPPSSSSSS my wife was vibrating!!!!LOL!!! Anyways, I know I shut the hood good because I slammed it pretty hard too. GLad to see your alright and that is the only damage done to your truck.

Im stumped, I was turning into a road on the left, (crossing the other oncoming lane) and when i got into the road...the bike lost control and clopped the taillight and dented a foot in front of my taillight. He says i cut him off, but if i cut him off wouldnt the bike turn away from me, not toward me when i was in a road...but the cops are looking at me like its my fault, and believe me i care too much about my truck to cut someone off lol. The worst part of this is, i have no insurance, therefore i think i might need to file an SR22 with the state of nh? If im at fault or not? do i need to pay for his bike damage and his med bills? He was ok but he had a headache he said. Its atough situation...???

that's what I'm thinking... I'm glad you are in NH and not around here, you need to sell the truck and get a bicycle or something
