Default Hood flew open tonight! OH NO!!!

I left work tonight, got to 30mph and the hood flew open, spidered my windshield, bent the hinges and springs, and creased the hood in like 5 places!!! I got it latched halfway to drive it home but its horrible! Ive got a question. I have Force-placed insurance on the truck which the bank provided because the insurance for me right now on my own is too much, will they cover this issue? I dont know if its just for them if the truck is totalled or? This damage is bad ill have pics up tommorrow...answers?

Usually the ins. the lien holder will offer will have high deductables. It should be a comprehensive claim (?) so it might be less but could be as high-no higher than $1000
