Hood insulator.

Have any of you guys removed the hood insulator yet? Mine is getting discolored and looking like crap and I'm thinking of just taking the thing off. If you did remove it did it make things louder?

Had mine off for about 6 months, and no problems. I didn't noticed any more noise either.
