I replaced one shorted horn on my truck with one of these, about a year ago.

They sound good? I got the low horn out on my truck and even before it just sounded like a whimpy *** car horn.

They sound fine to me. I don't use them very often, but they work good for me. I think the stock horns are around 115-120 db IIRC. These are louder, but not like air horns or train horns.

Awesome might pick these up for the weekend then. Replacing the horns pretty straight forward? Never done them before.

Had a 97 Caddy Deville, A grandma parked her deceased husbands Durango in the trunk one day while I was at work.

Tore the stock horns out of it and put them in my truck. Let me tell you that the Caddy horns were a Direct plug in, had to "adjust" the bracket a bit for the HI side horn but definitely LOUD. Alot louder than the Civic sounding ones that were in there to begin with. It was Easy as hell my 7 year old did most of the wrenching while dad here watched!

And something that has a deeper tone then factory. I want the horn on my truck, to sound like a truck... Not a honda civic

You can do them from underneath the truck. Not too hard, but you have dirt falling on your face while you work. I usually pull the grille and lights, and do them from the top. Might take a couple minutes longer, but I stay cleaner and happier. Pick your poison. They're easy.
