could possibly be the tires, check to see if they are chopped or cupped, Very common on 4wd when you dont rotate the tires.

its a 2wd by the way... 2 tires are slick(rear), 2 are almost new (10k miles) but they arent wearing unusual. i could understand the ujoints or rearend on decel. but why in the world in a left turn?? im goin to pull the diff cover off when i get home, prob be a week from now.
we are stuck in Sedalia, MO. its raining and cold, and we have to wait till it stops rainin to work....

what kind of gear fluid should i put in the rear diff when i put the cover back on?

Guess i better go ahead and get ujoints ordered?? its got 3 of the freakin things!!

Thanks guys!!

Could the noise be coming from the bearing on the other side? Check to see if the noise changes pitch when turning the wheel while driving...it sometimes helps to have someone with a good ear sit in the passenger's seat to help while you do this.

i got my brother and a friend of mine to ride with me on 2 seperate occasions. we all came up with, the noise was comin from the front passenger tire area.. even when i rotated my tires in a X pattern. when i get home im goin to get some one to get in the bed of my truck and see if they can hear it from there..
It gets really aggravating!!!
Hope i can figure this crap out. I really dont want to take to a shop...
