One thing that I have found concerning KR and Detonation, I have seen this on couple of diff. vehicles. When the detonation actually occurs the KR is at 0, I am not saying this is all the time but just saying I wouldnt rule out detonation just becuase it didnt show up on the log.

I am refering to audible detonation.

post up the log and tune in your tune section thread. all setups are different and like different things, so with that said, you could have been experiencing detonation and like said above...think about what detonation does. It's not combustion anymore, it's an uncontrolled explosion happening as the piston is on the way up. Bad bad bad news for the rods and pistons. Those cylinders experiencing the detonation are trying to stop what the others are trying to accomplish...rotation of the crank. 10psi is a **** load of boost on a stock piston/rod combo at LAUNCH!

Wholy carnage batman! Looks like you had some catostrophic detonation back there...sorry for your misfortune When you and your buds tell stories about breaking cars and parts though, you'll definitely have a story to beat em all. I'd keep the broken pieces as sentimental paper-weights myself.

Bingo
Looks like the piston broke into and chucked the rod through the block.....
Damn that Sucks BAD, But I'm sorry, I can't help but be a little releaved by your pics. You are one of the guys Really push the stock 6.0's like myself. And ever sense you posted up about the blown engine, I knew mine must be right behind you... LOL I know mines going to blow up soon, I just hope it don't throw a rod.....

after some further inspection , im leanign towards the piston let go , because there are score marks from the pin at the top of the cylinder . suggesting the pin was still in the rod when the piston detached. and then from there the rod hit the cylinder wall on broke the rod itself it then hit the block wall and broke more and also broke the block wall. i dont think the cylinders were run lean becasue it was still pretty easy to see all of the machine marks on the top of pistons.
