I got rid of the smoke smell in a car of mine once by putting a container of baking soda in there. Maybe over nite or something. It soaks up the smell. I also put a few sheets of fabric softener under the seat. That helps too.

I havent thought of using dryer sheets to cover up smell since I quit smoking pot in the basement when I lived at home used to stuff a tube full of dryer sheets and blow the smoke threw the tube worked like a charm

i sprayed the **** out of it with febreze auto. the only thing it did was make my leather seats sticky. I drove in 32deg weather last night with all the windows down. while driving it was fine, but, once i stopped or put the windows back up, it was bad. I left the windows down and the doors open all night in my garage. i'll go check it out in a min. i'm scared. i've tried baking soda in the past. no luck

I smoke in my daily driver every day, and it was starting to smell bad enough that it was bothering me. I picked up a bottle of Meguiar's Car Odor Eliminator and man what a difference. I vaccuumed everything out really well and sprayed this on all the cloth surfaces. It works great!!!! I topped it off with a Yankee Candle Company Cotton air freshener, and it smells like a new car again.
