Bought brand new in 2001:
Under warranty fixed a crunched power steering pump, power window motor (passenger side), snapped tailgate cables (hauling kayaks), and a 3rd brake light leaking water into cab.

After warranty fixed a fuel pump and thats really about it .
Currently at 81K miles. Has survived a cat 4 hurricane in the street, couple of floods, some wimpy tropical storms, etc.

Blew tranny at 104,000 ( entirely my fault ) and replaced E-brake shoes at about 60-70,000. No other major work done to it besides a stall but no internal engine problems as of yet ( KNOCK ON WOOD ). Had that cold start knock since I can remember. Changed engine oil religously (sp.) every 3-4000, switched to Mobil 1 and changed first set of plugs at 60,000, and thats about it.
Knock me off the throne. A few guys at work have about 165-170 a peice on 2001 RCSB 4.8's one is 2wd the other is 4.

89,000, bought it new on 9/11/00. Only problems leaking heater core at 5,000, battery, right rear brake pad broke, one leaky front shock, and the DRL's that burn out every 10,000 miles.

By the way, my cousin had a company truck back in 99, it was a 99 model, black ecsb with over a 170,000 on it. 170,000 in one year!

170k in one year is insane it's 479 miles a day 365 days a year. That is a ton of driving. What did he do?
