How many times you get asked if you gotta Chip?
So how often do you guys get asked if you have a chip in your truck?? I'm sick and tired of tryin to explain to people that I tuned it myself with EFI Live on a dyno..But they still insist that i get a chip, or that i should get a Predator or a Hypertech and that it will run alot faster..thats usually when I bust up laughin right in their face and say their stupid and walk off..

LMFAO i have someone ask me this almost all the time.Everytime it's like man what all you got done ta that thang!!!???? I tell i did a motor swap with a small cam and bolt ons.
There response...Ya got a chip on it?
Mine no a chip won't do me any good with this setup.
Them: Man we put a chip on my buddies Ford and it was a big differance you should put one on yours i bet it would give ya a good 30 horsepower.
Me....uhhuh.Walk away.
Evertime i'm at the track now i ahve at least 2 guys same conversation...

every person i have talked to ask "dude, sweet truck you gotta chip in it" i just say no and then walk off because i hate trying to talk about motors and trucks to people that dont have a clue.

Wow it's funny this post comes up because I just got done explaining to a guy the EFI Live is much better than a hypertech. He also tried telling me that I should put a chip in after the EFI Live. I just nodded and gave up like everyone else in this thread did.
