I had one at one time. It was a 95 TBI 4.3. I think it would be a great idea!

now wait just a min i have a 96 blazer but it has the 5.7 LS1 engine, people that have s-10 pickups and blazers doing this swap need to know, how to make the mounts, how to make there headers, what kind of oil pan to use, how to notch the frame to clear the pan, what parts are needed for fuel, acc's, intake, OBD II,,, the list gos on and on and on but its hard to find the info you need to do it right the first time on these S-10's, if someone would have made a tech thread for this kind of application it would have saved me lots of time and money, been owkring on this for 6 months and i am still not done yet grrrrr........

There might be some helpful info on ls1truck.com. Allen (farmtruc) runs the site and has a section on ls1 conversions. There might be some helpful information over there.
