I think the fact is that alot of people can't just go out and pay off there vehicle, I know I couldn't. They can how ever come up with the money to mod there trucks, make the payments, still have a lil to get by on. So even if they try to save there mod money month to month to pay off there truck, they still have a truck payment to make each month, so why not have both..

A lot of $$$...

The expression on a vette owners face when he gets beat by a 5000 lb truck: Priceless and worth every penny!

I'd probably hate to know......I have had this thing for over 9 years now and I've changed my mind way too many times over the years.

I agree with you, I did not have the money to buy my truck in cash, I budgeted for what I could afford, yep I will pay interest and that is fine...

The an extra 200 a month is a good idea, but a rather boring one... Who wants to drive around in a stock truck for 2 years to they can start modding on the 3rd year.... That would be rather boring not worth it to me...

No you make perfect sense, I did not even touch my truck for 2 years, I concentrated on paying CC and student loans from college and buying a house. I had a budget and I followed it, if I did not have the money I did not spend it... I still have a budget and I follow it, I still have some debt but I am ok with it cause what is the point in busting my a** everyday at work if it takes a few years to enjoy the fruits of my labor... I have worked ever since I was 15, put myself threw college, engineering/comp sci major, built a house at 24 and bought all of my cars/truck by myself... IMO if someone just mods moderately then IMO that is OK, when people go over board then that is a different story... Most of my mod money comes for overtime and bonuses I get from work...

Make sense....

Is this a trick question? If you know how much u either arent doing ur own work, or keep track all to well. Everytime I try and keep track I loose count in all the 100 dollar late night trips to auto zone, little odds and ends, lol.
