wow... i reckon i got a little over $3000 in stuff i've done - i didn't know it'd been that much!

well, about 2000 of that was the 4.3 -> 5.3 swap, but i had to replace the engine anyway, so why not go bigger?

1250 for the 4.8 swap
500 for corsa
300 for lts and ory
600 for tru trac and 411's
400 for the cam setup
100 for the home made cai
200 for slave cylinder (been replaced 4 times, buy only paid once)
50 for shackles
3400 for performance drivetrain (so far)

500 or so for interior upgrades (sirius radio, sub and amp, ect.)

250 for exterior upgrades (foglights, and minor stuff)

So im under 5000 so far...but if i get my **** squared away and get the new motor and trans in, then i will be close to the 10k mark.

Truck was free technically!

Well, I know I have more than 30k in the truck right now and not even close to finishing it. So all said and done I am looking at close to or well beyond 50k. The price we pay to be different and go fast.....lol. Love the thread...keep it rollin!!!!

Also, I came to work in Iraq to pay for this.....so it is a sacrifice...but damn the pay is good!!!!....lol.

over 50K since I got the truck new in 2001........ But the way I look at it is, im 25 years old and its only money...all I have to do is make more. I work 7 days a week, and only have one week off a year.....So the truck is one of the only things I have time to spend my money on.

I prefer not to think about the investment of dollars. It's pretty much the worst "investment" that exists. But it is FUN to drive every day, and puts a smile on my face. That makes it worthwhile. Gotta remember that this is a hobby and a passion....
