How much to get engine installed?
I know not a truck but it's still a GM and figured you guys might be able to help me out on this one. I've got a 69' Cadillac Deville that I've been working on for the last couple months and have the exterior pretty much assembled and was looking to get the engine and tranny installed and all the wiring hooked up. The block itself has everything installed (rods, cam, heads, etc) but is missing all the exterior pieces (fan, alternator, carb, etc). All the pieces are there and I'm going to put as much on as I can find where it goes (first time doing so and a 472 cu in motor is a big one to have fun with) but was wondering what you guys think the cost is going to be to have a shop finish installing the little pieces, install the engine and tranny in the car, and wire it all up for me. Any guestimations are appreciated.

well considering its a freakin land yacht of a car there should be no problems of space loss but it really depends on how much stuff needs to be done. most shopps dont like doin just part of the work like just finishing up other peoples work

All they really need to do is the wiring for it and a few of the engine "accessories" like the little pieces around it like coolant items and fluid items etc. and it will need to be tuned. The engine, tranny, and driveline I'm doing in the garage so those don't actually need to be done.
