If it was a grayish lightning, the owner of it is a friend of mine. His best run to date was last Friday, 13.17X. He's running on M/T drag radials. His goal is 12s. He's running 12-13 lbs. of boost also. In cooler weather he will hit twelves with no problem. Lightnings run 13.8 stock on 8 lbs of boost with really good driving.

12-13 psi and a 13.5?! I'd be pissed. I'd be hanging a for sale sign on that bad boy.

It's got to be the weight of the truck. The guy can drive very well and have a good 60 ft. Also, these trucks use the 4r100 tranny. This is what they use in the F-250/350 diesels. So who knows how much power that sucks up. I guess it would be like putting the Allison in our trucks. I'm very skeptical of 13.8 in the quarter mile stock 8 lbs of boost.
