I smoked a single cab HEMI in my RCSB 5.3 the other night. I even had my 22's on at that!! lol. My buddy has a white 2001 Dakota R/T 5.9 ECSB w/ heads, cam, intake, full exhaust, programmer, 4.56 gear, shift kit, throttle body and throttle body spacer and maybe a couple other little things im forgetting. On street tires, he is running low 13's. Hes fixin to put a NX 150 shot on it and and get tires and hopefully pull a mid-low 12. When his truck was stock, i could easily beat him in my stock 5.3 RCSB.

I didn't say I don't beleive you, I just said that the two or three times with my buddy with the Dakota have run, we're neck in neck, so obviously the 5.3 should walk away from him. I was just suprised that in theory, if I can keep up with my buddy in his Dakota, that I should be able to hang w/a Hemi-powered Ram. I've driven one and they seem quicker than my truck, but I haven't had an oppertunity to run w/one. I never said you were wrong so don't go nuts on me, I just shared my experience

alrite, the reason why theres a misconception with the r/t's is because its a completely different truck stock and modded. stock those things r dogs, which most likely is what u raced. when u mod them its a diff story. if he had close to the same mods, if would of been close. most r/t guys all get this mopar cam/manifold combo that adds a ton of hp
basically our trucks r already fast stock, we dont have to do much. theyre mods do alot more for thier trucks
