Yup, need a clean title to register the vehicle. Truck has a non reparable title...

Isn't that determined by the VIN number, not the frame?

the title goes with the frame & if that frames title says unrepairable you need a new frame

Again.. Isn't that determined by the VIN that they will look at on the dash? They don't crawl under the truck and look for a vin number on the frame. Which i'm pretty sure there isn't one.

If you look behind the 69 chevy you will see some tire marks from testing...

They actually put the truck on a lift and check all the vin numbers and look for stolen parts. The frame swap will make the truck legal again.
