Default i know better but...

now i know most of you will say not to reuse your head bolts buy the arp sets but im wondering. im running tight on money for this 383 build and i intended to buy main and head studs but if i can reuse my head bolts that would save me money for the time being until i can afford them later. what do you guys think?

Dont skimp there bud, if ya gotta wait to get more coin do it. There is a reason GM says not to reuse them. After they are strecthed they arent going to torque to the same value as before, but im no metalologist hahaha.

Yeah don't reuse them. Get the eBay cheap studs. That's what I have, and plenty of other people are running them on boosted builds.

Don't reuse head bolts unless they are ARP. You could get new GM head bolts from Texas Speed for a reasonable price if you are on a tight budget.

Don't! I bought my arp head bolts for $80 shipped from someone who went with studs. Look for a deal or hold off.
