New Chevy Silverado to debut at 2006 Detroit Auto Show
Americans will get their first official look at the redesigned 2007 Chevrolet Silverado in January at the auto show in Detroit.
The next-generation Silverado and its companion, the GMC Sierra, are being totally overhauled, with all-new sheet metal, revised cabins and updated mechanicals.
The big pickups, which go on sale in fall 2006, will share some underbody components with the redesigned Tahoe and Suburban utility vehicles that debut next spring.
Among the new powertrain features that should help enhance fuel economy are a six-speed automatic transmission and a displacement-on-demand system for optional V-8 engines.

this is also copy and pasted from Edmunds...
The 2007 Sierra will also see its powertrain lineup bolstered in terms of both performance and fuel economy. The 5.3-liter V8 goes to 320 hp while the heavy-duty 6.0-liter V8 tops out at 350 hp. Both will use variable valve timing and Displacement on Demand technology to improve efficiency.

Chrome or plastic bumper will probably be options on certain equipped trucks.
What's so bad about the photoshop pic anyways?
