build your blown 5.7 and run it.... save the 418 there for a F-bod or rainy day like you said... you'd have two nice vehicles there... no problems turning those 33's with that motor/blower/cam combo

I can tell you that I've put my share of miles on an SSS with a 408 in it and a very small cam. (212/218). That setup at full weight was capable of mid 13's and was able to get some better fuel milage than most 6.0L's. It also drove like a stock truck, except with alot more power. Without a doubt having driven both styles of your choice, go for the 418 N/A with a small cam.

or, like Zippy said, your stroker with something like a TR220 in it... what heads/intake would you run with that setup?

I'd run the stock truck intake and stock heads. An LS1/6 intake with good heads would be a decent gain though without a noticable torque loss.

LMAO, Im trying to get rid of the sts to pay for other bills right now

The last 2 months have been hell and tons of things have changed and of course priorities change with all that. Once I get things lined out and get a house I will be building my own turbo kit the way I want it for the 418 just other things have a much higher priority right now.

If I run the 418 N/A it will be with the vic jr and 4 barrel tb along with some stage II 6.0 heads from WCCH. If I go with the bown option I will still put the heads from WCCH on there. I jut cant justify doing all of the work and not putting good heads on there and the price is pretty damn good for them.

I think i'll change my vote. You are talking about saving money....you already have the 418 short block together so why not just get a little cam for it and go with it. It will still be very stout and you can build another engine later for the truck and pull the 418 out.
Then use the extra money from not buying the radix and put a down payment down on a house.

....and you have what, 3 sets of wheels I like either option. Don't think you could go wrong with either. I'd like to see you go with the Radix after the way you've bashed them in the past, I love Irony.
