I have my iPod hookd up through the aux port on my Pioneer head unit, I just hooked up the adaptor box and stuck it under the dash, then bought a monster cabel and it plugs right into the headphone jack. Im sure u could do the same with the factory radio. I havent had any problems with road noise or anything, just keep your cellphone away from the iPod. Its basically a portable computer hardrive, anyone have their compuetr screen go crazy when a cell phone rings around it? same thing with the iPod. Only complaint is that you cant really get it as loud as if you had a CD in their, im guessing because the iPod has less power??? i not sure. And yes, FM transshitters suck ***, dont waste yout money.
p.s. Any of you guys with an aftermarket XM setup, you could just use that as well. Not exactly sure how but my friend has his iPod running through his XM setup in his civic.

GM9-Aux for those 95-03's without a slave CD player. have it on my silverado and it works great. Just hardwired in the ipod car charger behind the dash and it looks as close to factory as you can get with an aftermarket part. I can take a pic if you'd like. I got it from http://eastcoastcustomcars.com/ for 60-70 (can't remember which).
