I dont look at 1500s much so I am not sure but every 2500 that I have came across was built in Flint. Maybe its the 1500s that are built in MEX. When I was between trucks, I found a site that breaks down GM VINs.

If its built in the US, the vin will start with a 1 or 5. Built in Canada, it will start with a 2. Built in MEX, it will start with a 3.

When I was truck hunting, I hardly ever went to a dealership that was open so I couldnt just look in the door jamb. Looking at the vin is a little quicker too.

Oh ya, I forgot Flint. I never looked at a CC, so I couldn't comment. I thought Avy's, burbs, & Hoes came from MEX. At least some, IDK if all I do.

Nice little tip on CAN, MEX, or U.S. Also, I specifically go when dealersahip is closd. Cause I actually wanna look & not have sales in my face.
