JL4 RPO Code?
Hello Guys, when it says: Except Active brake control, (JL4), it means that your vehicle doesn't have JL4. Right! The reason why I'm asking this question is because I went to the dealer and they sold me the front disc brake pad kit part # AcDelco 171-0975 or OEM GM 25918341 which it's for vehicle with JL4. But looking in the glove compartment at the service parts id sticker, i don't see the JL4 code on there. what i can see is the JF7. My question is: Do they give me the wrong brake pads for my truck. Thanks.

I don't know if there is any difference between the Stabilitrak brakes and regular brakes. I would think not, though, although the JL4 pads may have some different shims included.

Did you provide them with your vin number when you ordered them? If so it makes it really hard to be wrong on which pads are for your application.
On occasion the catalog is wrong at which point the dealer can contact Partech or log into the parts work bench and look at engineering notes which will inform the parts counter guy of the correct part for your application.

A vin# does take out all the guess work but I owe the OP an appology. The catalog lists the old part# for the 19257667s, (25918431) which is similar enough to the 25910431 that in my haste to answer your question i mistook them for the same number. I suspect your parts man made the same mistake but the information you posted is correct so all is well and I'm sorry I may have led someone astray.
