Wow!! That Chapman deal sounds awesome!!! I'll have to pay for shipping to Fl and hopefully there will be a dealership here that will warranty it, but thats a pretty good deal IMO.

I was thinking of getting a 95 Worktruck 1500 with the 305 which only weights 3600lbs and shoving a ls1 in it.

yeah, the only reason I didn't do it was because I really didn't have the extra money to spend. Also I got my truck for 20k even. can't really beat that.

You should call Chapman and present them with that scenario and see what they have to say. It might be worth saving $10K-$20K.

Yeah I just emailed the guy from chapman and asked him for details etc. I will see what he says and go from there-the price is alot better than on a Gibbs Performance Silverado. Im just wondering about the warranty since im in Texas and they are in Arizona. Oh well I'll keep ya'll posted and let you know what he says and what i decide to do.

I'm thinking that you may want to talk with Magnuson as well. If you buy a Chapman vehicle (or maybe even a Gibbs vehicle for that matter) and don't change the pulley on the Radix, Magnuson's policy may be to pay to have your drivetrain repaired (assuming it is the drivetrain that breaks) from any authorized shop - which could mean any Chevy shop, or any shop with an ASE mechanic, etc. All the other stock stuff should still retain the 3 yr/36,000 mi GM warranty. As far as any of the other stuff put in by Chapman, that could be discussed with the guy from Chapman. Maybe they would agree to have the stuff repaired by your local dealer and then reimburse them.

Let us know what you find out.
