junk yard 6.0
Ive been searching around and found a 6.0 in a junkyard with all the accesories, computer, eng harness, and 2wd trans. They tell me the eng has 200k plus on it and are asking $1500 for the whole combo. Is it worth the money? or too many miles? I know my old iron and with 200k is a chunk of miles and aint worth much. What do you guys think of it? Should i buy it or let it go?

Where are you located? I can't speak for prices nationwide and wouldn't even attempt to do so, but I haven't had a problem at all finding 6.0's around here (South GA) with all of the accessories minus the transmissions for $800-$900 with less than 100K on them. I'd say what you're looking at seems like a little much.

200k on them is something I would not even consider buying, if your looking for a engine set up.. You could find that stuff much cheaper.. Hell when I bought my 6.0 it was only a year or 2 old, had 11k on it, paid 1100 for it.. keep looking, particularly on here..

i couldnt find a decent 6.0 here in south texas, they were all high mileage and high dollar. ive seen a few good deals on ebay, but nothing was within driving distance. good luck finding a decent one. personally, id pass on something with that many miles on it.
