Has anybody ever ordered drivetrain parts from KDS performance? I have been trying to place an order with and they don't answer. I have also left messege and have not gotten back to me. http://www.kdsperformance.com/index.html

 

I ordered some stuff from them to rebuild the 4L60E in the Z28 from them. I ordered online and didn't have any problems. The stuff worked great, too. A buddy of mine has also ordered a couple of 700R4 rebuild kits from them and didn't have any problems, either.

 

I ordered my shift kit and various items from them last week. Right after orderign I had a question concerning the charges but they have not returned my email - been 5 days now.

Everyone seems happy with their product but as of now their customer service is making me a bit nervous.

I ordered the shift kit and Vette servo seperately before I noticed they sell them as a kit together and this would have saved my 20 bucks or so on purchase price. I immediately emailed them and asked if they could bill me for the kit as opposed to two seperate items since they are one and the same. To date, I've been ignored.

Thats my experience so far. If it were not for a good price and people posting being happy with them on this board, I think I would have played it safe and canceled my order after the 3rd day of no response from them

 

I have ordered servos online and didn't have any problems.

 

I should note that delivery of my items and ordering have not been an issue. Its just that this trend I am seeing from all vendors of being unresponsive that bugs the hell out of me (Volant is another one that likes to ignore people)

 

I have always delt with Chad and never had a problem.
Hopefully it was just the holiday and they'll get back too you soon.

 

Yup, I'm straight when I got my parts from them. Perhaps they are just busy as hell? I think Chad and one other cat run the show there from two locations...

 

I placed an order for a friend(first and last time) because he wasn't sure what to get. I did the 2nd day air shipping and he didn't get anything. Waited a week and e-mailed them. No response, so I e-mailed them again. Nothing. I had to call THEM to get some answers.
Ended up cancelling the order and bought it from someone else, no problem.

 

That sucks, I don't know how many times I recommended these guys to people in response to Tranny posts.

 

Chingon, where did you buy your parts from? I tried calling again this morning and no responce. They have not even returned when I left a messege yesterday. Those ******* are getting to me. Looks like they don't want my businesss.
