au0 is the rpo code for keyless entry. I don't think it's as easy as getting a key fob and programming it on these trucks. I know the rke(remote keyless entry)module is the passenger side window/lock switch on trucks that have keyless entry. I would think that if you don't have power windows, with that switch/module, it won't work.
I may be wrong though, check your local dealer to see if they can try it and see what happens.

FOB is a term for shipping Freight On Board.
KEY Fob is basically another term for key chain or a device on a ring or a chain, for ease of tactile identification, to provide a better grip, or to make a personal statement. A fob may be symbolic or strictly aesthetic, but it can also be a small tool. Many fobs are small flashlights, compasses, calculators, penknives, discount cards, bottle openers, or USB flash drives.
It just so happens that now days we have Electronic Key Fobs that allow use to lock or unlock our cars/trucks.

I didn't know the RPO code for KRE, but on my '02, the fuse panel lid said "if equipped with power locks w/o remote entry, 30amp fuse is used (in the specified spot), if equipped with power locks w/ remote entry, a relay is used"
I got 2 keys with my truck, and a swift kick in the ***, and that's all.
I figured it SHOULD have had the remote entry, but wasn't sure.
what's the secret to programming a remote for a NBS truck??
