A friend of mine has a 2000 silverado and the truck was equipped with keyless entry but got no fobs. So he bought a fob from the stealership and had them program it for him ($65). Just recently he said the thing just stopped working and he replaced the battery and still nothing so I dug up how to re-program the fobs and tried it on my truck (01 Sierra) it works so I tried re-programming it to his and I cant get the truck to go into the programming mode. Everything else works (locks and windows) I didnt have time to really start checking fuses and relays yet but I figured someone here might be able to point me in the right direction as to where to look first when I do.
