kid inventions
my daughter has this school project for her third grade class, she has to invent something, anyone have any ideas of something we could make and send to the school. I have no clue what to invent. any and all help will be appreciated. keep in mind tho, that i have to build this thing so it would have to be practical. don't worry, we aren't gonna try and get rich off your idea, this is just for a school project.

Back when I was in 5th grade I did this too... "Invention Convention". My idea was pretty good, so I made it in the library haha
What I did: When you use a measuring cup, typically a larger one, and you pour liquid out... it usually drips down the side. I made a measuring cup to where the bottom of it opened up to pour out the contents. Just an idea... good luck!

Re: kid inventions
god how about a mini air conditioner to sit on a desk......I could use one in here, not exactly a new invention, but definitely creative and that gets gold stars
all you need is a plastic box, a 5 dollar portable fan from walmart, and some ice/dry ice.....and you can work from there
easy, cheap, and efficient

I wish I could find it... I would overnight it to ya haha. Just take the lid off of another container that half of it flips open. Cutting the measuring cup is the worst pary, its pretty easy to do!

Re: kid inventions
poor kid has to go to school with a non-drip measuring cup instead of a custom mini desk designed in-class portable a/c unit....
hey if she turns out like slowverado, dont blame me
