Default killed a NASCAR Edition F150

I have to say that i like that truck, it looks really good. black, SCSB, NASCAR wheels, Yellow walled GY's, Stock car styled side exhaust tips, and a stock car spoiler. anyway, last night, after taking a good friend home, I get in the turning lane with this guy we both turn and from a 15mph roll we both hit it... my tq. came into play and i left him, he only got as close as my tailgate up to 75mph. the first fair race in the 04 GMC! all the other ones are against rice civics which the closest race with on of those was about 3 truck lengths.

Cool good kill, do those Nascar edition have something special under the hood? Or is it just exterior look?

I was under the impression those NasCar Edition F150's were something special. I was very wrong.

Nope stock 4.6 with nothing done at all. if it was a lightning powered truck, with the nascar scheme option, that would sell to a few people.

Nice kill man!

I had one back in 98. They were built because it was the 50th b-day for nascar and ford trucks. They were rated 230hp with 3.73 gears. They didn't run bad and it pulled my racecar at the time {3100 lb car, generator, tool box, air compressor, 2 sets of track tires on a 18ft tandem trailer} pretty good. They had the special floor mats and were numbered. They wheels were lincoln Nav. wheels painted black. I didnt like it when I first bought it. I got it for $1500 under cost because the dealer couldnt sell them. I got asked all the time if it had the lightning motor. I traded it off for my 99 Dodge 4x4 quad cab. I liked the ford a whole lot better. Then I traded that POS dodge for my Chebby and haven't looked back. OK my I turned my head slightly were my tranny went out at 40k and I hadnt even modded it yet
