Default Killer Find 1976 C10 with 23k miles 1 owner

Well I ran across a killer deal I think. 1976 Chevy C10 with 23000 actual miles original owner. Truck is in excellent shape, been in the garaged its whole life.
3 on the tree, straight 6.

Can anyone tell me some good web sites for build #s and options on this year of truck, and going prices. Not sure if I will keep it, but if I have to get rid of it I would like to know what the going price is.

I gave 2k for it, which I think was not bad at all. Have seen some other the same years go for much more. So I think I came out ahead in this deal. The old guy just wanted to get rid of it.

Ill get some pics soon need to clean some of the dust and crud off of it. I am still in a Ah everytime I get in it and look at the odometer through the clear lense.

There are a few body dings and paint issues. But it would take nothing to have this thing back to show room condition.

Quick question, dose anyone know if they had a power steering option in this year. I have seen there power steering box's for this year in parts catologs. Now weather they put them on the v8's, and omitted them from the 6's?

Not that I care but my wife has a hard time with it.

smokin deal man. I would check on 73-87chevytrucks.com for VIN information, also you could order a free catalog from LMC truck, they also have vin info.

OH MY.... Beautiful truck and killer deal!! The only thing I would change is the wheels/tires. Don't put gaudy 20's on it...keep it 18" or less and give it beefier tires. I would leave the suspension stock. Those straight 6 engines are bulletproof...just change the oil and plugs. The interior and bed condition is UNREAL.

I am with you there, on the tires and rims. I don't get into the 20,s either.
Yes a few minor repairs and I think I will have a winner. Going to repair little areas of surface rust and and small dings. And get rid of the cheese molding, do a repaint, back to stock color. Tossing around the idea of a 2 tone with the correct body moldings.
