Unhappy Large Puddle of Coolant Under the Truck...

Well for the past month I've known that I had a coolant leak, but it was very minor, like a drip every now and then. Well tonight I went outside and looked under my truck and there is a 2' puddle of coolant, dried coolant, not a standing puddle. I haven't driven my truck for a few days. I was curious if there is a gasket somewhere on these trucks that commonly goes out? Or if there is anything else I should check first? The truck at 80k miles on it. The last time I ever had a coolant leak was on my Z28 and that was a water pump gasket leak. Thanks guys!

I bet it is your water pump gaskets, mine started leaking with only 13,000 miles on it. The leak I had sound's just like your's, very small and sometimes leave a good puddle under the truck. This is a common problem with some of these GM trucks and the LS motor.

Me too. Water pump. Leaked on the passenger side by the passenger head. took about four months to pinpoint. Took it in under warranty and gm re sealed it. No leak since.
