Default Last year for Silverado Stepside beds?

So my father has a 1995 Stepside 1500 4x4, single cab (short bed obviously) with the monochrome package. Sweet little truck.
The more I drive it the more I want a Silverado similarly equipped.
I was thinking of buying new but I definitely want the stepside bed, and I see on chevy's website that stepside silverado 1500s aren't made anymore (or so it looks- correct me if I'm wrong). I'm looking for an extended cab 1500 4x4 with the stepside bed, preferrably a similar monochrome style package but it's not a must.

I don't mind buying used so, what was the last year they made the newer bodystyle with a stepside?
Thanks

Sweet... well as long as that 2005 end of the stepside assumption is right, it narrowsit down to a 99-05 truck
Thanks guys.

The grille is slightly different too. The 'bowtie bar' doesn't continue across the entire face of the truck anymore.

My 06: bumper cap is painted, between the headlights is painted, new hood, and new grille.

narrow it down to 2001 to 2005. 99 and 2000 have a few quarks.

Just swap out everything. Only thing 99 on mine is about half of the body.
