Leaking Washer Fluid 2005 Silverado JBP
Hey...
I noticed tonight I am leaking fluid, comes out right when I pour more in...
Anyone have to replace a reservoir before? If so... how hard was it?
Also, if I don't need to replace it, what should I use to patch it that I won't have to worry about falling off or anything...?
thanks in advance.

Don't know if the one in your 05 is in the same place as my 02's, but mine has done the same thing...twice...
But...it wasn't the reservoir itself, it was battery acid eating the rubber hose to the squirters. If your battery is right there like mine is, check that first...

fixed it.
ended up having a cracked pump. jacked the truck up and ripped the old one out, ran to bennett auto supply, got one for $20 and change, and put the new one in. took about 30mins.

I had a leaky battery that caused the reservoir to leak. So, I replaced it (battery and reservoir). Then, I still had a leak. As mentioned, pump had a crack - so, I took it all back out and replaced the pump. A lot of work that should have only been done once, but I did finally get it to stop leaking.
