My question was how there are so many numbers being thrown on that are over a 1000 lbs different for very similar trucks. I didn't say **** about track times or how fast people are...
well Scott, my guess is that people are going to improperly calibrated weigh stations, such as those at salvage yards and taking them to be exactly accurate.
After seeing this thread, I think Im going to put my truck on my longacre scales I use to scale my race car with... Ill get left, right, front, rear, and cross weights and percentages.
I know they sell lighter duty scales too. Do u have the HD version?
and i weighed a couple weeks ago - 4780 with a full tank & me. that's a RCSB 4x4 with not a lot added. i can't wait to get some aluminum wheels, though. that'll cut 36 unsprung lbs right there
Thats what my 03 reg 4x4 weighed with me before the 80E, and turbo kit. Im 195lbs. With turbo kit, 4l80E, hitch, bedliner, and full tank its 4940. Thats also with laptop, some tools, and other crap behind the seat.
