Something you don't see much... The bodies can still be picked up fairly cheap and they look cool as hell, used the same drivetrain as an old beetle. And they don't weigh JACK

I'd say a 68 and later nova, 3rd gen Camaro, 77-80 Malibu, 77-86 Buick Regal, and any clones these may have.

They are pretty light at less then 3500 pound for the heaviest and 3000 for the lightest.

Availibility, and popularity so parts are out there to do things your going to do.

Also they are the right size and have advatages over going smaller with big HP. Such as body flex and routing of various things. Especially if you get the framed cars mentioned above.
