My dad wants to get me some slicks... I gave him the "only get them if you want to" line, knowing no matter what I say, I'll probably have them sitting in the bed of the truck Christmas morning anyway...

And since him and mom are split, She insists on getting me something also.... and she wants to give me something for the truck too... I emailed her a link to cal-trac's website We'll see how that works out

but what they say is definitely true in my case about parents splitting:

My folks split when I was about 5 or 6...the competition between the two of them at Christmas made me a spoiled only child lol...(glass half full version)

My folks split about 6 years ago... as soon as I left for boot camp and since all the kids were out of the house and they were doing their own thing it wasnt a big deal... Of course, I want Mom and Dad to be together and all that but they did their job as parents, all 4 of their kids were grown, and out of the house and on their own... All I could want at that point was for them to be happy as their own person.

Ah ha...just remembered something that I wanted that fits into our $150 budget...steel braided brake lines http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku

Think it's worth it, or should I just get more tools??...(I already have the tools that I need to install the brake lines )
