Default a little help for someone without knowledge

Hey, I have been wondering this for a while now and I can't figure it out. Maybe some of you have input.

I own a '00 ECSB, Z71, LS. I know what the differences are between the Z71 and the 4X4. It is that the Z71 comes with Bilstein shocks and extra skid plates under the eng/tranny/T-case, and a different limited slip or something in the rearend. I know if you put a lift on a Z71 truck it actually removes most of the Z71 package. Hence no longer a Z71?

But what is the differences in the LT and LS trucks???? I am really confused. I tried to look in the interior to see if it was any different, and I found nothing. Also is which is the more "valuable" package??? LT or LS?

Just curious.

Thanks.

Its still a Z71 regardless of what lift you put on it. As a Z28 or SS camaro would still be referred to as that no matter what you added or removed.
People buy a "Z71" or a "4x4" because they want 4 wheel drive.

"LT" would designate leather seats mainly.

mine's just a normal 4x4, it has skidplates for the front end, and the t-case. I think Z71 adds a plate for the gas tank, the Bilstein shocks, and of course a sticker! Mine also had the locking rear diff (G80 on your RPO sticker), its a standalone option. Like it was mentioned before, LS has the upgraded cloth seats, power accessories, etc. LT adds leather, as a main option

I just like being able to call mine a Z71. It makes it sound a lil less than saying F8L 4x4 which would imply I take it offroad. Everyone here knows I don't go offroad...

*cringes at the thought of getting mud on the tires or rocks hitting the paint*
