Default Loctite????

How long does it take loctite to dry?
Basically i am reinstalling my rockers because when i did my head swap i forogot to rotate the motor after putting em in and rechecking them to be certain they were at 22ft lbs.
So i took everything off tonight and will reinstal em tomorrow. Only 9 out of the 16 were loose enough to move with my fingers.....
Anyway how fast does loctite dry up once you put the bolts in?
Should i do driverside then passenger side or will it take long enough that if a hour or two goes by it won't be dry yet?

I'm kinda slow thats why i say 2 hours lol.

It depends on how clean the thread's are, if there is still oil on them the loctite might not work. But to your question it should only take about 30mins to a hour to dry.

take them all out, clean the threads on all of the studds/bolts, spray some brake cleaner on the threads, blow out the holes, and use new lock tite.

Install all the rockers, spin the motor over a few times, torque them down, spin the motor a few times, then torque again.

This way you'll know that they're all the same, and they have all been torqued the same. Lock tite gets a little gummy in 30min to 1hr.

of course your going to have some loose when the back side of the lobe is against the lifter, since the valve is fully closed.

Were the bolts loose or the rockers loose. Like Lance said some "rockers" will be loose.
However none of the bolts should be like this:

I don't even use loctite. Just retq them to 22 ft lbs and be done with it. I rev my stuff up to 6200Rpm's + all the time without problems.
