Cant stand glocks. They just feel cheap, imo. I'd rather get a Sig. P220 in .45 ACP *mmmmmmmmmmmmmm* .45

Im waitin till i can get my P220. Dont own any handguns, but i own a Remington 870 Marine Mag 12 gauge (18" barrel, 7 shot capacity, nickel plated thunderstick ) and a Remington 597 .22LR 3x scoped rifle (plinker). Pops owns a .357 S&W revolver and a .380 backup weapon that used to be his duty weapon, but once i get up the dinero, its Sig Arms for me

man I bet that thing has some serious recoil. I personally like the kimber 1911 pistols in custom options. it's a 45 and much more accurate then the glock I shot. Also felt a hell of alot stronger.

Kimbers are nice, but rather pricey (altho compared to most Colts of the same caliber, they're not all that much more $$$).

And that S&W was the 2nd handgun i ever shot. The first was my friends .22LR Browning. Shocked the hell outta me shooting that .22LR then grabbin the .357 lol. Wasnt quite ready for that much recoil. And the .380 is great for a backup, but my only complaint with it, is it'll spit rounds @ the top of your head if you're not careful.

But im wanting that Sig badly! Thought about possibly getting a Ruger P90 (.45), or Beretta 96 (in .40) instead just to save some coin for awhile, but i'll probably save up for the Sig.

Kimber four fifths ROCK! Expensive but worth every damned penny. People overlook them and stick with the big names Glock, Beretta (which is my personal preferred line of weapon) and Smith. My next purchase will be a Kimber. Your spot on, brother, they make bad *** well built and acurate .45's

That Glock is nice. It may feel cheap to some, look cheap to others, but they are a quality and well established proven firearm. I dont own any but have several buds that own .45 and 10mm glocks. Nice pieces, but I am a Beretta loyalist.

Illnali, did you look at the 32C? The compensated models have hardly any recoil. I have had mine for almost a year and love blasting the crap out of things (not ppl) with it. Glocks look and feel like toys but I think it's one of the best pistols to conseal (it's light, small, powerful), plus you gotta love a pistol with the safety on the trigger. All you need now is a 3 lb trigger, +2 clip and laser site so you can realize how bad these things line up. Can't hit anything 12+ ft accurately to save my life.
