Default Looking for HP and Torque Gains

Hey guys I'm new to the site and I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to how I can gain power in both hp and torque. The goal I have is 500+ in both. Listed in my signature are the modifications to the truck and I have not put it on a dyno yet. The engine code is 'B' on the vin suggesting it is the 315 hp version of the truck. If you do the math you can roughly estimate how much I've gained in both categories. Let me know what you guys have in mind any suggestions will be taken seriously. I will note that I have been in the process of researching either a turbo kit or a twin screw supercharger, but at this time I'm looking towards a less expensive way to increase power.
Thanks!

LT Headers, a real custom tune a blower cam with a Radix and you should be pretty close. You can pick up a used MP112 pretty cheap these days.

A turbo or blower will definatly get you there. On my truck I went nitrous since it was a fast easy way to get HP. I gained 50hp and 80lbft torque on a baby 60shot. On another truck with a 100 shot it gained 90hp and 125ftlbs. Both on a conservative tune.. Just an idea.

Both are good suggestions, I've definitely been leaning towards a twin screw, I'm just saving up the money on the side for one. LT Headers probably will be the next purchase for the truck within the next week. I'll start posting pictures of the truck and if you'd care to see where I'm at so far I'll reply with some in here.

With the drivetrain loss and your current mods, your around 290 to the wheels now. Longtubes will add about 15hp. Cam will get you 35-60 depending on what cam you go with, and a supercharger will get you 100-150+ depending on what you get and how much boost your running. Another good mod is a intake manifold swap. The tbss and nnbs intake is a good improvement over stock. Some have seen 20hp. If you can afford it a fast lsxrt 102mm intake will be great. But at 1k for just the intake it almost doesn't seem worth it.

Most bolt on/cammed 5.3's I have seen are just shy of the 350 HP mark... thats with some pretty aggresive cams too. I'd say 290 is more of a reality after the headers.

Don't forget Andy, its rare to see an LQ9 cross the 400 HP mark at the wheels, even with a real aggressive cam, in our trucks (2wd included). Once you get into head/intake swaps thats a totally different ball game

cam, tune and long tubes i gained 81 rwhp, so with a power adder you could hit your goal pretty easy.
