Looking to maybe get this truck.
So my plans for my RCSB 1500 have always been to have a manual 6.0 RCSB but that means I need to do a motor swap and then eventually a trans swap to a stronger manual trans. Both of which cost alot of time and money.
I found this on CL earlier and I am highly considering getting it. Because If i sold my truck and got that one I would come out with extra money for mods!

Its already a manual RC 4x4 6.0 and has the stronger running gear being that its a 3/4 ton. Not sure of the gearing yet tho.
The ugly flat bed would come right off and I would ether short bed swap it or build a custom truggy type thing to keep it light and short.
Pretty much what I am wanting to know is
-Do you think this would be a better platform to build then my current RCSB in SIG?
-Do you think the 3/4 ton axles and trans would soak up more power then the 6.0 would give over my 4.8?
-Also is there anything I should look for tomorrow when I go look at it?
Thank you!

Well, It would have the 6.0 but That is not a performance transmission. It's also extremely heavy.
It all depends on your goals.
It wouldn't necessarily soak up power. I am not familiar with the Manual they used behind the 6.0 in the 2500. It should have a 14 bolt 9.5 rear axle though.
