it looks lower then a just a shackle drop in the rear of 2". Does it look like the hangars were switched out or moved up and new holes drilled, or is a leaf removed? it looks to be dropped 3-4 in the rear, and that would explain you hitting the axle on some bigger bumps, and the harsh ride if it was the stock length shockes on the rear. If it is lowered more then 2" in the rear, you really need a mini c-notch to get the full travel out of it. If they removed a leaf to lower that extra bit, you are probably getting spring wrap on the harder shifts. Clamps on the leafs will help that, but it will lower it more, and be really stiff. Most guys who pull leafs, also have the traction bars to get rid of the axle wrap. You need stock length shocks up front, because it doesnt look lowered at all and drop shocks out back. Or you can get some 2" drop springs for the front to go along with your new shocks, or cut a little of the coil off, and that would be cheap.

I think it looked that way due to the stock shackles having been cut and rewelded. Now that I have the drop shackles the truck seems to be level.

In regards to the rear springs, how many are supposed to be there? There are only two on my truck, which I thought was weird for a truck, I figured there would have been at least three.

I got the belltech sport shocks and will be installing them today. The range on the ones I picked up said zero drop to 2" drop in front and up to 4" drop in rear so it seems they will cover whatever scenario I have going on.
