A loud annoying whistle on my '04 Silvy
#11
I have a bug shield and it doesn't cause a whistle. It does cause a clicking noise at interstate speeds sometimes but that is coming from the rubber strips that cover the hood hinges. But I'm going to have to go with hirdlej on this and say it's probably causing it.(-off topic-in the video clip, I like how that guy flies though that stop sign in that pimped out supra----stupidity got to love it)

Your problem is with your bug sheild (there was a TSB about this). The bug sheild causes the wind to catch the windsheild weather stripping and makes it whistle. Peel back your weather stripping on your windsheild and either put double sided sticky tape on or inject silicone in there. Press down firmly. If using silicone let it ooze out and dry. Then take a razor blade and trim/scrape the excess off. Works like a charm and no more whistle
