I knew I'd get some great replies on this one lol! Still working on the "blower" in the bedroom!

I got it from haynSS, he's a member here and at SilveradoSS.com. It has 27k and it's totally clean...the cylinder walls are like new. Plans are to build it up as funds allow and drop it in my truck eventually. I have a set of clean 317 heads in our kitchen (j/k...they're actually in our attic), that'll be either getting worked or used as cores. Gonna stay N/A, figure out a decent street/strip cam (been going back and forth on grind numbers for months), and build a 4L65E to put behind it. It isn't gonna happen overnight (due to funds and time), but it should be a nice project as it comes along. If I had the cash I'd actually like to buy a 2wd 99-02 rcsb to build around the motor, but until I win the lottery I'm a one truck guy.

Nah, she's too smart to let me know ahead of time...I'm sure she'll use it as leverage when she needs to though

From the pics looks like a good motor. On the 2wd thing 4wd is better for sure on the street you ALWAYS have traction(well atleast more than any 2wd) and hurt peoples feelings. Stick with the 4wd man the traction additive is well worth it. Back when I had a stock motor with the nitrous if I got on it at anything below 15mph it would just spin the tires bad or ata drop from 35-40 to first it would spin bad but with 4wd it was fun to play with the ricers/camaros/vettes/muffstangs I could take most up to ~80-100 then I got my *** handed to me by the stouter cars but in town when you race from a dig to ~50-60 it was so badass spinnin all four for 3-4 feet and puttin it on em quick while they were fighting for traction plus you know that Z71 sticker on the back will just kill when they see it pass them
